Nancy Cooper is a premiere vocal coach and teacher in New York City with over 30 years experience. Her students range from Broadway and television actors to young adults auditioning for college and high school programs to people of a certain age looking to rediscover their voice.

Nancy began her career as a jazz and big band singer, performing at the Rainbow Room, The Riverboat, Roseland, and other well-known venues in NYC. Around this same time, she was hired by Music Makers and Sunday Productions to sing jingle demos. She can be heard singing commercials for Pepsi, Cantrece, and Mothers Gefilte Fish, to name a few.         

In the 1980's, Nancy combined her passion for singing and her understanding of artistic development into a teaching career. For 20 years she was a coach at the Long Island High School for the Arts specializing in voice for musical theater, style development, and the Great American Songbook.         

Nancy currently works from her private studio in Manhattan. She is recognized for her ability to find and perfect audition material, whether it be for professional auditions, college admissions, or high school musicals.
